Abdominal Ultrasound
An abdominal ultrasound captures real-time images of the body's major organs. It can help diagnose conditions such as abdominal aortic aneurysms, kidney masses, gallstones, pancreatic tumors, liver disease, spleen infections, and obstructions in the common bile duct.
An Abdominal Ultrasound takes 30 minutes and must be performed on a fasting patient. Patients should not eat or drink 6-8 hours before the exam.
